  • Line-Interactive Technology: This method doesn't convert power continuously. Instead, it primarily relies on the existing power supply and steps in only when disturbances are detected. It uses an autotransformer to regulate voltage by boosting (buck) or reducing (boost) it.

  • Efficiency: As there is no continuous power conversion, interactive UPS tends to be more energy-efficient and generates less heat compared to on-line UPS. However, it might not offer the same level of protection against power anomalies.
